Abstract

The purpose of this research aims 1) to synthesis the visual elements that appear in the news graphic of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Data Center, 2) to synthesis agenda of public health communication using news graphic, and 3) to study the design of news graphic of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Data Center. This is a mixed methods research that uses textual analysis in 26 topics of news graphic during the COVID-19 crisis of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Data Center.

The results of the research showed that the news graphic visual elements during the COVID-19 crisis of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Data Center had 3 aspects which consist of 1) data such as text, alphabet, and numeral, 2) image such as photograph, cartoon, chart or diagram, icon, and geometry, and 3) color tone such as warm tone, and cool tone. The public health communication of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Data Center using news graphic during the COVID-19 crisis has public health agenda that published which are 1) providing tidings and general information, 2) promoting awareness of risk factors, 3) raising social awareness, 4) promoting people participation, and 5) listening to opinions and feedback. Moreover, the design of news graphic during the COVID-19 crisis it consists of 1) objective, 2) target group, 3) content, and 4) channel.
